Lesson 1 - Design
In this Lesson we started to design the civic monitoring project.
After an introduction on what Cohesion Policy is, we've selected the EU funded project our territory we wish to monitor and designed the activities for the entire ASOC educational programme.
Information and data have been collected on the chosen project, from the administrative history that led to its implementation up to background data and information on the related theme, to learn to document it correctly and thoroughly, using official and reliable sources.

Understanding what’s involved in Cohesion Policy and public policies in general, what are they for and why it is important to do it under ASOC
Finding out what civic monitoring is, what it involves, which tools do we have to do it

CIVIC MONITORING
In this module we went further into certain aspects and characteristics of Civic Monitoring, to understand how better to plan the monitoring exploration.

OPEN DATA
In this module we've discovered what Open Data are and why they are important for our civic monitoring research.
